President Walker II is the new version of the most widespread CB radio President model among the truck driver community. In addition to the design that preserves the classic lines and robust buttons resistant to long-term use, Walker II has a digital display for better visualization of the channels, frequency and active functions, but also an analogue S-Meter, specific to the models in the upper range intended for drivers with experience in CB.

POWER

The radio station President Walker II / 12 V ASC complies with the legislation in force in Romania harmonized with European norms, having the maximum legal power allowed of 4 W.

As a whole, Walker II is prepared to face intense use while ensuring the quality of transmission and reception, specific to the President.

40 CHANNELS

The President Walker II ASC CB radio station complies with the latest European CB standards. As a unique option, the station has a switch for changing the modulation type, which will allow you to select the operating mode.

Of course, the functions already present in the WALKER I model, such as ROGER BEEP, PUBLIC ADDRESS, RF GAIN and RF POWER, were not forgotten. A pleasant surprise is the inclusion of the TONE function that allows improving the reception audio level and the SWR measurement function both through the display and through audio tones.

AUTOMATIC SQUELCH CONTROL

The station is equipped with many functions and of course, the ASC is adjusted to work much better than the previous version. It is interesting the presence in the station menu of some functions available until now only on models with digital display, such as VOX with all the specific settings, SCAN and TALKBACK.

The performance of the product is closely related to the technical characteristics of the antenna in ideal conditions of installation and use: SWR <= 1.2, maximum applied power 200 W, impedance 50 Ohms, stainless steel, etc.

Communication distance

The communication distance is another decisive factor in the purchase and use of a CB antenna. Thus, the maximum communication distance of 9 km is achieved in ideal working conditions: a calibrated antenna, an open field without obstacles, a station with the legally permitted maximum power of 4W and a standard reception. Any obstacle such as hills, mountains, buildings, or walls can reduce this distance.

Antenna length

The length of the antenna is a very important factor that can influence the communication distance. Thus, the longer the antenna, the greater the range of action. The PNI ML70 antenna is 70 cm long (magnetic base included).

Magnetic base

The PNI 145/PL magnetic base in the package is provided with a 4 m cable, sufficient for placing the antenna on the dome, it has a diameter of 145 mm and a strong magnet that gives the antenna stability even at high speeds.

Full package

This kit is ready for assembly with: an antenna, magnetic base with cable and plug PL259, and Allen key for calibration. All you have to do is mount the antenna on the magnetic base, connect it to a CB radio station and calibrate it to use it at maximum performance.
